Congratulations to Dr. Jung-Rok Lee!
Congratulations to Jung-Rok Lee for successfully defending his dissertation on INVESTIGATION ON DIAGNOSTIC BIOMARKERS AND PROTEIN-PROTEIN INTERACTIONS BY USING GIANT MAGNETORESISTIVE BIOSENSORS! His PhD degree is awarded in Mechanical Engineering. Jung-Rok continues his research in Wang Group as a postdoctoral scholar.
Jung-Rok was a team member in our successful entry in 2014 Nokia Sensing XChallenge.

Hearty Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Bechstein who got married, defended his dissertation on MICROFLUIDIC PROTEIN BIOASSAYS USING GIANT MAGNETORESISTIVE SENSORS, and joined Apple, Inc. all in one summer! His PhD degree is awarded in Mechanical Engineering.
Daniel held a Bio-X Graduate Fellowship while conducting research in Wang Group, and was a team member in our successful entry in 2014 Nokia Sensing XChallenge.

Elaine Ng has been chosen as one of the exclusive list of ten finalists in the 2015 CIMIT Student Technology Prize for Primary Healthcare Competition. With this honor comes a monetary prize to further Elaine's research and her entry now moves on to compete for one of three top prizes. Congratulations, Elaine!

This year’s recipients of the 2014 SIMR Jessica Saal Award were Pedro Gallardo and Catherine Li. Pedro worked in the lab of Dr. David Miklos and Catherine worked in the lab of Dr. Shan Wang.
