Congratulations to Neeraja Ravi for successfully defending her dissertation on Developing a Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR)-based Assay for Quantification of the Human Immune Response to Influenza Infection and Vaccination. Her PhD degree is awarded in Bioengineering. Our best wishes to Neeraja in her new position as bioinformatics scientist at Personalis!

Congratulations to Sofie de Olazarra for receiving a 2021 Bio-X Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship!

The Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship is one of the greatest honors Stanford bestows upon doctoral students pursuing interdisciplinary research. As a Bio-X SIGF Fellow, Sofie will continue working at the crossroads of biology and electrical engineering in order to develop technology for the benefit of human health.

Rahul Lall is honored with 2021 Terman Award for Academic Achievement!

We are thrilled to learn that Rahul Kartikeya Lall, a senior in Electrical Engineering, has been selected as a recipient of this year’s Frederick Emmons Terman Award for academic achievement in engineering. This award is presented to only the top 30 students of each year’s senior engineering class. Hearty congratulations, Rahul! Rahul is completing an honor thesis with Prof. Wang, and will enroll in the PhD program of UC Berkeley.
